Sneak Peek Week kicked off strong with Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin bringing you an exclusive look at "Snow White and the Huntsman" on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the cast of "That's My Boy," including Andy Samberg, Will Forte and Vanilla Ice, kept everyone laughing with a sneak peek at their R-rated comedy. And the first looks continue as Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey hit Universal's CityWalk to bring us "Magic Mike" on Thursday (May 31).

The film is loosely based on Tatum's time as a stripper. He plays an exotic dancer named Mike who takes newbie performer the Kid (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing to teach him the ways of partying, women and money. Watch as Tatum and McConaughey reveal it all live on MTV at 11 p.m. ET, and log on to MTV.com immediately after to catch a Q&A with the actors. As if the film's plot isn't enough to get you to tune in, here are five reasons to check it out!

Never-Before-Seen Clip
Who doesn't love exclusives? With a steamy hot trailer satiating our thirst for a glimpse at the actors taking it all off, aren't you ready to see a scene from the movie — possibly a full strip tease or maybe a closer look at the Kid? We certainly are! Grab your dollar bills, your favorite late-night snack and get ready to be entertained.

Your Burning Questions Answered
If you haven't been tweeting @MTVNews your questions with the hashtag #MTVSneak, hop to it! Immediately following the exclusive clip, our very own Josh Horowitz will be sitting down with Tatum and McConaughey to ask them your Twitter questions! Spill everything you're dying to know — in 140 characters or less — and maybe the hunky actors will be answering you live on MTV.com!

Juicy Movie Details
During that same Q&A session, we'll have some questions of our own while the actors are in the hot, hot, hot seat. We were able to get Stewart and Claflin to revisit "Fifty Shades of Grey" and garnered details from "That's My Boy" star Milo Ventimiglia regarding Taylor Lautner's role in "Grown Ups 2." You never know what our persuasive power will get Tatum and McConaughey to spill — you'll have to watch to find out!

A Hilariously Good Time
If you haven't noticed, we like to have fun with celebrities who visit MTV headquarters. Last night we took the liberty of mashing up the faces of the actors in "That's My Boy" to see what their children would look like. (Horowitz and Ventimiglia made a surprisingly attractive child.) With Tatum revealing his knack for comedy in "21 Jump Street" — his talent proven by the film's ability to nab six Movie Award nominations — our time with the actor will be nothing short of entertaining.

Channing Tatum + Stripper Movie = Impromptu Dance Party?
Hey, it's MTV Movie Awards week. We're known for having some seriously outrageous moments and Tatum just so happens to be known for — aside from being an incredibly successful actor — his impressive dancing skill. So who knows, maybe Horowitz will get a lap dance. Anything can happen. Don't miss it!

Beyonce's 'Run The World' Started Off As 'A Joke'?

'It was a song we did, kind of like a funny, kind-of-a-joke song,' Diplo tells BBC Radio of B's 2011 single, which sampled his Major Lazer song.
By James Montgomery

<P>This may come as a surprise to devoted disciples of the Queen B, but according to producer Diplo, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyonc&#233;</a>'s 2011 single "<a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/beyonce/654804/run-the-world-girls.jhtml#artist=1236911">Run the World (Girls)</a>" actually started as "a joke."</P><P>"I think a lot of people don't even realize where that song came from," Diplo told <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/17907948" target="_blank">BBC Radio's Newsbeat</a>. "That song never really had a push. It was a song we did, kind of like a funny, kind-of-a-joke song."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyoncé - &quot;Run The World (Girls)&quot;" id="vid:654804" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P><a href="/news/articles/1664181/beyonce-run-the-world-girls-video.jhtml">"Run the World"</a> was released as the first single from Bey's much-anticipated <a href="/news/articles/1666507/beyonce-4-album.jhtml"><i>4</i> album</a>, though it was met with a slightly <a href="/news/articles/1664218/beyonce-run-the-world-girls-video.jhtml">puzzled reaction</a> from some of her die-hard fans and failed to generate much heat on the charts, reaching only #29 on the <i>Billboard</i> Hot 100. Subsequent singles "Best Thing I Never Had" and "Love on Top" fared slightly better, going as high as #16.</P><P>Of course, Diplo isn't actually credited as a producer on "Run the World" (that honor would go to The-Dream, Switch, Beyonc&#233; herself and Shea Taylor), but he did snag a writing credit, thanks to the song's hefty sample of his Major Lazer track "Pon de Floor." But he did produce the <i>4</i> track "End of Time" and remembered the experience as a surreal one.</P><P>"We had to finish up a few records we were working with her on," Dip said. "That was super-weird, man. Like, I remember we were in the studio working with her and I <i>still</i> couldn't believe it."</p>

Christopher Nolan Was 'Nervous' About Including Catwoman In 'Dark Knight Rises'

Director tells Empire magazine that his brother Jonathan convinced him 'there would be a great way to do it.'
By Kevin P. Sullivan

Christopher Nolan's first two Batman films firmly established the tone and terms of his version of Gotham City. The character would feel more real. Bruce Wayne's gadgets would have basis in actual military technology. Overall, Nolan's Caped Crusader would feel truer to today's world, allowing for parallels to exist more organically.

So it almost seemed out of character when Nolan announced Catwoman and Bane as the two newest additions to the universe in "The Dark Knight Rises." A cat-themed burglar and a luchador-mask-wearing, Venom-dependent super-genius doesn't naturally fall under the categories of "realistic" and "organic."

In the latest issue of Empire Magazine, Nolan opens up about his decision to include Catwoman in his take on the Batman mythos; not surprisingly, it took some convincing on the part of his brother Jonathan.

The brothers Nolan collaborated on the screenplays for "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Dark Knight" with David S. Goyer, and when it came time to decide whether Selina Kyle would make an appearance in the series before it came to a close, Jonathan strongly supported the notion, eventually convincing his older brother of the same.

Why did Jonathan Nolan feel so strongly about including Catwoman? He tells Empire that for their vision of Batman to be complete, they simply couldn't leave her out. "What we're endeavoring to do here is tell a complete take on the Batman mythos. And a complete take of the Batman mythos without the character for me was sacrilegious," Nolan said. "You've gotta have her, because she has a delicious greyness to her that helps define who Batman is. She keeps wavering on this line of, 'Is she a good guy or a bad guy?' Well, she's kind of neither. And that's why, to me, that relationship and that character only enhances the universe — and the Batman character."

But fitting her into the world provides a challenge unto itself. Part of that transformation manifests itself simply in the character's name. According to the article, Selina Kyle is never once referred to as Catwoman in the script. Most of the translation, however, comes with the basic conception of the character.

"Catwoman is a very iconic figure in the Batman pantheon," Christopher Nolan conceded. "I was nervous about how she would fit into our world. But [Jonathan] was very much convinced that there would be a great way to do it and eventually turned me around. Once I got my head around the idea of looking at that character through the prism of our films, saying, 'Who could that person be in real life?' we figured it out. She's a bit of a con-woman, something of a grifter. A hard-edged kind of criminal."

Kristen Stewart's Snow White Reveals True Identity In Exclusive Clip: Watch Here!

Snow and her Huntsman meet the dwarves in MTV's Sneak Peak Week preview.

Kristen Stewart came through with more than juicy scoop about her role in "Snow White and the Huntsman" when she sat down with MTV News on Tuesday night (May 29) as part of Sneak Peek Week: KStew also brought an exclusive clip from the movies, which opens this Friday.

In the teaser, Snow White (Stewart) and the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) are seen hanging upside down from a tree after being captured by dwarves. To escape, the Huntsman offers them gold, but when the dwarves refuse, Snow assumes it's because they have allegiances to Queen Ravenna. In fact, one of the dwarves says they "lost everything when the King died" thanks to the evil queen's ways.

The king, it is revealed, was Snow's dad. And it turns out she, too, lost it all when the Queen took over power. Another dwarf, who can "see into" Snow's light, tells her she "is destined to bring an end to the darkness." What happens next will be revealed when the film opens on June 1.

In addition to Stewart and Hemsworth, the film also stars Charlize Theron as the queen and Prince Charming himself, Sam Claflin, who joined Stewart for MTV's sit-down. The flick is directed by Rupert Sanders.

"SWATH" kicked off our MTV Sneak Peek Week festivities, which will also include chats with the casts of "That's My Boy" (Wednesday), "Magic Mike" (Thursday) and "Rock of Ages" (Friday), all week on MTV and MTV.com. Check back every night at 11 p.m. ET as Josh Horowitz conducts Q&A sessions with the actors live from the 5 Towers on Universal CityWalk. Fans can get in on the action on Twitter using the hash tag #MTVSneak.

Stewart will be on hand at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday, where she'll not only be a presenter but also vie for Best Kiss after being nominated for her smooch with Robert Pattinson in "Breaking Dawn - Part 1." (The film is up for Movie of the Year.)

Russell Brand is set to host the MTV Movie Awards with performances by Fun., Wiz Khalifa, the Black Keys and house DJ Martin Solveig. It all goes down at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, June 3!

Justin Bieber 'Boyfriend' Remix Let 2 Chainz Express Himself 'In Different Ways'

'I enjoy doin' different records like that and not just hip-hop records,' Deuce tells MTV News.
By Rob Markman

<P>You'd be hard-pressed to find a rapper in higher demand than <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/id_4011955/artist.jhtml">2 Chainz</a> these days. With his debut solo album still months away, the charismatic Atlanta MC has logged a ton of features for the likes of Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Young Jeezy, Big K.R.I.T. and Kreayshawn. In fact, Deuce has received so many feature calls he has decided to fall back so he can concentrate on his solo album &#8212; save for a few special requests, of course.</P><P>"Maybe a few crossover records," 2 Chainz told MTV News on Sunday during the Atlanta stop on Drake's Club Paradise Tour. "I just did something for Bieber; that should be interesting."</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="2 Chainz Describes Working With Justin Bieber, Mac Miller" id="vid:782302" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>Chainz wouldn't tell us exactly which song he recorded with <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>, but on Tuesday night the Biebs spilled the beans over Twitter. "To celebrate the #BELIEVEtour coming ... I might need to drop this #BOYFRIENDremix @2Chainz @MacMiller," he <a href="http://twitter.com/justinbieber/status/205130937443418113" target="_blank">wrote</a>.</P><P>Mac responded with a tweet of his own, writing, "Uh oh," helping to build anticipation for the track.</P><P>No word on when Bieber plans to drop the "Boyfriend" remix, and what it will sound like is anyone's guess, but 2 Chainz assured us that he didn't have to tone down his trap rap to fit in with the baby-faced 18-year-old pop star. "I'm able to express myself in different ways, so I enjoy doin' different records like that and not just hip-hop records, so it's cool," he said.</P><P>After JB's remix comes out, it may be a while before fans hear any new rap collaborations from 2 Chainz, unless they are slated for his upcoming <i>Based on a T.R.U. Story,</i> which drops August 14. "It's not that I don't have ammunition for people &#8212; it's just that I want to focus on trying to make the album of the year," he said confidently. "That's something that I put out there, that's something that I'm striving to do, and so I may do features that make sense, something that's not in my genre, but I think I took care of all rap artists."</P><P>2 Chainz is rolling toward his highly anticipated LP, but on Tuesday he hit an unexpected bump in the road after he was arrested in New York's LaGuardia Airport after airport security found what they described as "brass knuckles" in the rapper's carry-on luggage. In an exclusive interview with MTV News, <a href="/news/articles/1685627/2-chainz-brass-knuckles-arrest.jhtml">2 Chainz explained</a> that what authorities called a weapon was actually a gold four-finger ring.</P><P>"They tried to assassinate my character, they tried to assassinate my swag," the rapper said after he was released from jail. "It was just a negative dilemma earlier where someone misconstrued a piece of jewelry for a weapon and stuff."</P><P><i>What are you expecting from Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" remix with 2 Chainz and Mac Miller? Let us know in the comments!</i></p>

Whitney Houston And Michael Jackson's Deaths: Gone Too Soon

'You will always remember where you were ... when you heard the news,' Simon Cowell says, echoing the sentiments after Jackson's death.
By Tomika L. Anderson

<P>Few people will forget where they were when they heard that the King of Pop, <a href="/news/articles/1614744/michael-jackson-dies-at-50.jhtml">Michael Jackson, had died</a> in June 2009. And now, the same can be said for 1980s and '90s <a href="/news/articles/1679029/whitney-houston-dead.jhtml">Queen of Pop Whitney Houston</a>.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Celebrities React To Whitney Houston's Passing" id="vid:733106.id:1679030" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>The beloved, long-suffering singer died Saturday inside a Beverly Hills hotel room, hours before she was expected to attend a <a href="/news/articles/1679046/whitney-houston-dies-grammys-clive-davis.jhtml">pre-Grammy Awards party thrown by her longtime mentor Clive Davis</a>.</P><P>And while the official cause of death is yet unknown &#8212; what's been speculated so far is that <a href="/news/articles/1679049/whitney-houston-dies-details.jhtml">Houston may have drowned</a> in the bathtub after taking prescription drugs, including Xanax &#8212; given her very public struggle with substance abuse, depression and anxiety over the past decade, it's hard not to conclude that some drug- or alcohol-related accident may have been to blame.</P><P>It's much like, most recently, British singer Amy Winehouse and the late, great Michael Jackson before her, who died after taking a fatal cocktail of propofol and two other drugs. Also like Jackson, Houston's sudden death &#8212; at the age of 48 &#8212; has stopped the world in its tracks, an enormous, one-of-a-kind musical flame forever extinguished.</P><P>Even Jackson's brother, Jermaine &#8212; who was first introduced to Houston years ago by Clive Davis at the same Beverly Hills Hilton where the singer passed away &#8212; could not help but draw the comparison. In an interview with CNN overnight, he paid tribute to the two fallen musical giants. "They shared a lot of success in the late '80s and they were great friends," he said. "I'm happy and honored to have been a part of their lives."</P><P>And oh, what lives they led: Like Jackson &#8212; who died at just 50 years old, after years of struggling with personal demons &#8212; Houston, too, had an intensely profound and everlasting impact on the world of entertainment.</P><P>Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson and countless other chart-topping entertainers have all name-checked her as their musical mentor, icon and inspiration: To date, she is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with more than 170 million albums, songs and videos sold.</P><P>In her lifetime, Houston achieved what precious few of them have or ever will &#8212; stacking an astonishing 415 awards, including six Grammys, two Emmys, 22 American Music Awards, 30 <i>Billboard</i> Awards.</P><P>Her voice, in its prime, was a national treasure.</P><P>"X Factor" mastermind Simon Cowell may have summed it up the best: On "Piers Morgan Tonight," he said, "She was one of the greatest voices in our lifetime. Whitney was the number one singer that other singers want to emulate. People like that can't be manufactured. They've either got, it or they don't."</P><P>He added, "You will always remember where you were and what you were doing when you heard the news."</P><P>Like Michael before her, gone too soon.</P><P><center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:733107/cp~id%3D1679030%26vid%3D733107%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A733107%26instance%3Dmtv" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></center></P><P><b>MTV News' Sway and James Montgomery will be live from the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/grammys/">Grammys</a> red carpet tonight starting at 5 p.m. ET to get reactions from music's biggest stars on the death of Whitney Houston. And on Thursday, Oscar-winning industrial-rocker-turned-film composer Reznor and musical partner Atticus Ross unveiled the full track list for their "Tattoo" score album.</P><P>The follow-up to their award-winning "The Social Network" score was a labor of love, according to a <a href="http://nin.com/?id=102677" target="_blank">post</a> Reznor put up on the NIN site on Thursday announcing the disc. "For the last fourteen months Atticus and I have been hard at work on David Fincher's 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,' " he wrote about the American version of the tale of pierced and punished hacker <a href="/news/articles/1655879/rooney-mara-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara)</a> and her muckraking journalist compatriot <a href="/news/articles/1667542/daniel-craig-rooney-mara-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig)</a>. Lady Gaga Under Fire After 'PopStarsDontEat' Comment

Pop star's post-workout tweet criticized by eating-disorder association.
By John Mitchell

<P>What was clearly intended as a jokey tweet lamenting the rigorous diet and exercise routine she is currently undertaking to prepare for her 110-date Born This Way Ball has put <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml "> Lady Gaga</a> in the crosshairs of some angry fans and eating-disorder organizations. On Tuesday, the pop star <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/189809689570189313" target="_blank">tweeted</a>, "Just killed back to back spin classes. Eating a salad dreaming of a cheeseburger #PopSingersDontEat #IWasBornThisWay." <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/11/popstarsdonteat-lady-gaga_n_1418722.html" target="_blank">Some fans </a> thought the tweet wasn't exactly keeping with the pop star's "You're perfect the way you are" message and that her choice of the "#PopStarsDontEat" hashtag could be misinterpreted as encouraging eating disorders because she posits herself as a role model to her fans.</P><P><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:717952/cp~vid%3D717952%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A717952" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed> The National Eating Disorder Association even weighed in, hitting its own <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/NEDAstaff/status/190133464509591552" target="_blank">Twitter account</a> to write, "Huh? This is the same person who recently implored girls to stop dieting?"</P><P><b><i><a href="http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2012/04/11/lady-gaga-pop-stars-dont-eat-tweet/">MTV Buzzworthy has an Open Letter To Lady Gaga</a></b></i> While it seems clear that Gaga was joking &#8212; who hasn't dove into a salad wishing it was something else? &#8212; the comment does appear out of character for the star, who has spoken publicly about her own struggles with an eating disorder as a teen. Using that particular hashtag might have been a poor choice, but it's safe to say Lady Gaga wasn't knowingly making light of eating disorders &#8212; and, otherwise, wasn't she mostly just encouraging exercise and healthy eating? Gaga tweets often about all sort of less-than-healthful habits, from <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/185590893238165506" target="_blank">drinking </a> ("after 12 margaritas my phone was confiscated") to, well, <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/189573069856194560" target="_blank">other things </a> ("princess xena of xanaxland has lil secrets in her inbox"). Why she is being scrutinized for making an observation about something we already know &#8212; that celebrities engage in intense fitness regimens to meet the unrealistic expectations placed on their appearance &#8212; is kind of a mystery. But, you know, totally appropriate and necessary reason for outrage, everyone. <i>Sound off on Gaga's #PopSingersDontEat tweet in the comments below!</i></p>

Are Joshua Jackson & Diane Kruger Engaged?

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger have been one of the cutest, most affectionate celebrity couples ever since they got together back in 2006, causing many to wonder whether the happily unmarried pair would, well, ever marry. Thanks to a $45,000 necklace that Jackson, 33, bought for Kruger, 35, at a charity event in Monaco, we might (or might not) have our answer.

Robert Plant And Alison Krauss Win Grammy Album Of The Year

Raising Sand, from Led Zeppelin vet and bluegrass superstar, wins five Grammys on Sunday night.
By James Montgomery with MTV News staff

<P>"I'm bewildered," <a href="/music/artist/plant_robert/artist.jhtml">Robert Plant</a> said onstage as he accepted the <MTVNLINK type="news" id="1604580">Grammy Album of the Year award</MTVNLINK> with <a href="/music/artist/krauss_alison/artist.jhtml">Alison Krauss</a> on Sunday night. "In the old days we would have called this selling out, but it's a good way to spend a Sunday."</P><P>He was probably one of the few who were surprised, because <i>Raising Sand,</i> which won five trophies at Sunday night's show, is in many ways the perfect <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/grammys/">Grammy</a> album. It features two respected veterans, a critically lauded producer, some sandpaper-and-velvet vocals and a baker's dozen of time-tested standards.</p><div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left;"><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:338316" width="256" height="223" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="configParams=instance%3Dnews%26vid%3D338316" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></div><p></P><P>You're probably familiar with Robert Plant from his <a href="/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</a> days, and you might be aware of producer T-Bone Burnett's work on the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack (it won the Grammy for Album of the Year in 2002). And if you don't know who Alison Krauss is, she possesses a haunting set of pipes and is one of the meanest fiddle players in the world. Oh, and she's won 21 Grammys, more than any other female artist and the seventh-most in history.</P><P>Really, she's the key to <i>Sand</i>'s success, and not just because of her voice (or her fiddle playing). She and Plant first met in 2004, at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tribute to legendary bluesman Leadbelly, and the former Zeppelin man was amazed by her knowledge of American Roots music &#8212; so much so that they began kicking around the idea of recording an album together. Three years later, <i>Sand</i> was released.</P><P>And while Plant possesses the more famous voice, the album's finest moments radiate from Krauss. Whether she's getting bluesy on Little Milton's "Let Your Loss Be Your Lesson" or entwining with Plant's husky voice on songs like "Please Read the Letter" and Roly Salley's winsome "Killing the Blues," she more than carries her end of the bargain.</P><P>And perhaps that's also due to producer Burnett, who handpicked the 13 songs the duo cover on <i>Sand.</i> His arrangements are sparse &#8212; giving the two voices ample room to breathe &#8212; yet dense, warm and crackling at the same time. It's a testament to his work that he's often given just as much billing as Plant and Krauss on the project ... and it's certainly justified.</P><P>To date, <i>Sand</i> has sold more than 1 million copies, heaped tons of acclaim and actually earned a Grammy last year &#8212; "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" took home the award for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.</P><P>One expert was surprised not by the album's success, but by the fact that it's actually quite a good album.</P><P>"At first, the album seemed like a vanity project. ... Two names, clearly a one-off record, didn't have to be any good, you know?" <i>New York Times</i> music critic Jon Caramanica said. "Led Zeppelin fans would buy it because of Robert Plant, Alison Krauss would get a check. But it actually turned out to be a really thoughtful, really <i>good</i> record. So when you combine all that with the fact that the Grammys love to lionize one of their own, I could really see it taking home some awards." </p>
