Making all the ladies swoon, Joe Manganiello was named People's Hottest Bachelor.
In the upcoming issue of the mag, the ?True Blood? star describes his personality and said, "I am part Sicilian. I am passionate. I am a hot-blooded person. If you don't like spicy, then maybe I'm not for you."
Joe also opened up about his first crush, which was Princess Leia. He also talked about his perfect kiss and said, ?like you?re off the planet.?
The hottie continued about whether or not he believes in true love, "I think the crazy love that you fall into in the beginning turns into 'like' and 'need.' Chris Rock told me that! He's like, 'Kid, you wanna get married? Listen, there's love, and you can feel love the first night, but that's not what it is. It's, 'I like you and I need you.'"
As for Manganiello?s favorite part of a woman he says, "I'm big into smell. It's funny I got cast as a werewolf. There's something about the smell on that part of a woman's neck where it meets the jaw, ahhhh! It's heaven."

he Academy Award winners had more to say than just the thank yous and musings they shared from the stage on Sunday night. Behind the scenes, those with Oscars in hand talked more about what it meant to win — as well as how they prepped for the big day and how they'd be partying into the next one.

Mother Monster takes to Twitter after being rebuked by PETA for wearing fur coats.
By Jocelyn Vena

Lady Gaga has come under fire after being photographed in various fur jackets over the past few weeks. Animal rights organization PETA is taking issue with the Mother Monster and her furry fashion choices.

In a statement released on PETA's website, VP Dan Mathews recalls a statement she gave to Ellen DeGeneres in 2010 after she wore the infamous meat dress to the VMAs that year. And from there he takes aim at the star for being what he calls "Judas" to animal rights activists everywhere.

For those press and such who are writing about whether or not my fur is actually real, littlemonsters.com/text/50296814a...
— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) August 13, 2012

"Many of your gay fans, I among them, have long admired what you told Ellen: 'I hate fur and I don't wear fur.' I included a link because these recent photos of you in fox and rabbit and with a wolf carcass make it appear that you have amnesia," he wrote. "What happened? Are your stylists telling you that it's fake, or are you a turncoat? Many gays are animal advocates because we recognize that the same arrogance and indifference that some have toward animal suffering has at times been directed toward us personally because of our orientation.

"PETA has long participated in Pride events around the country, and just last week, we helped lead protests against Chick-fil-A. But by wearing those dumb furs in a heat wave, you're making yourself a target just like the mindless Kim Kardashian," he said, comparing her to the reality starlet who was flour-bombed by a PETA supporter earlier this year. "As we plan our fall campaigns, please tell us whether what you gracefully told Ellen was heartfelt or just a pose."

He then asked for a response from her, but he didn't have to wait too long to get it. Gaga kept her response short, sweet and tongue-in-cheek. "For those press and such who are writing about whether or not my fur is actually real, please don't forget to credit the designer HERMES. 'On this record, I said, 'Let's leave the tricks to a minimum and let me wail,' ' Ke$ha tells Rolling Stone about her 'vulnerable' album.
By James Montgomery

Last month, seemingly against the will of his employer, super producer Dr. Luke leaked a snippet of a song called "Supernatural," a walloping slab of electro-pop presumably set to be featured on Ke$ha's long-in-the-works new album.

"You leaked my song about me having sexy time with a ghost!" Ke$h subsequently tweeted at Luke." Now everyone knows I get it on with ghosts!"

Of course, we're assuming Ke$ha was just feigning outrage at the sneak peek, because in an interview in the new issue of Rolling Stone, she speaks in-depth about her upcoming album (tentatively due later this year), saying that it melds her Auto-Tuned, pop-heavy past with her current, classic rock-indebted present.

"I want it to be a mix of what works on the radio and what I listen to in my spare time," she said. "I'm on a steady diet of T. Rex and Iggy Pop."

Ke$ha and Luke also previewed a handful of tracks for the magazine (they have 17 songs in various forms of completion), including "Die Young," the aforementioned "Supernatural" and "Last Goodbye." Tentative guest stars include Flaming Lips' main man Wayne Coyne — who, back in May, spoke to MTV News about working with the singer — Pop and Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney. And unlike her previous Animal and Cannibal albums, Ke$ha said that, on her new record, she's not afraid to get deep.

"The first two records talked more about partying, which is a great, magical part of life. But some songs on the new record are more personal and vulnerable," she said. "And you can hear more of the music I listen to when I'm lying in my bed. I'm not claiming that it's a rock record, but as long as it's f---ing good, you can call it whatever you want."

And though Ke$ha's worked hard at cultivating her hard-partying persona, her new album is very much a labor of love ... not to mention a nod to the naysayers who dismissed her as nothing more than a flash in the pan.

"About 90 percent of the time, I don't give a f---. But I give so many f---s about this album," she said. "Some people weren't sure if I could sing. On this record, I said 'Let's leave the tricks to a minimum and let me wail.' "

What do you hope to hear on Ke$ha's upcoming album? Leave your comment below!

R&B crooner let his vocals do the dancing with a simple, stripped-down performance.
By Kelley L. Carter

With two spotlights shining down on him, a sleeveless <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1270">Usher</MTVNLINK> belted out the first notes of his summer hit, "Climax," at Sunday's 2012 BET Awards.

The R&B crooner stood center stage, wearing all black, save for a pair of hot-colored shoes, and sang the ballad with the electro-beat from his seventh studio album, Looking 4 Myself, in front of a live band. Some wicked, black-and-white animation danced behind him on a large screen that backlit the auditorium.

This was the first time Usher has performed at the awards show since 2010, where he also sang another ballad, "There Goes My Baby," from his Raymond v. Raymond album.

The Sunday night (July 1) performance came in the first half-hour of the show and was apropos, considering that Usher's latest studio album is topping Billboard's charts for the second week in a row (and his fourth #1-debuting album in a row). The dance-friendly album was just released last month. "Climax" hit #17 on the singles chart, while second track "Scream" has peaked at #13.

For his BET Awards performance, the multiplatinum, multi-Grammy-winning R&B singer kept it fairly muted. Save for a few quick microphone movements, he let his vocals dance during the performance. Even his attire was muted compared to what we've seen Usher turn out at awards shows in years past; a lone, shiny timepiece decorated his wrist.

Usher concluded his performance with a quick wave of his hand to the fans down in front.

Stick with MTV News as we bring you all the scoop from the 2012 BET Awards, including winners and must-see performances!

Everyone (and we mean everyone) is talking about the hilariously scary "Devil Baby Attack" video that's been viewed more than eight million times on You Tube since yesterday.
Thirty-three-year-old Barney Miller is an Australian surfer. He’s also a quadriplegic. Red Bull posted a video profiling a day in his life as a way to raise awareness about spinal cord injury research. The clip starts with him brushing his teeth and ends with Barney riding waves with his buddies. So far it’s been watched more than 130,000 times on YouTube, and once you push “play” you’ll understand why.
Pop singer sings 'Don't Think Twice, It's All Right' for Amnesty International anniversary album.
By Jocelyn Vena

It's hard to associate <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="3213641">Ke$ha</MTVNLINK> with songs about anything other than hot guys, body glitter and partying. But she's defying her usual topics of interest for human rights organization Amnesty International. The singer is one of the many musicians on the org's Chimes of Freedom compilation of Bob Dylan's music, out January 24.

When MTV News spoke with K-Dollar Sign last week about her all-star remix of "Sleazy," she also opened up about switching gears vocally and emotionally for her version of Dylan's classic "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right."

"I mean, I think it's pretty well known that he's one of, if not my most, favorite artists of all time and ... one of the most amazing lyricists as well — the original storyteller," she explained. "So I love Bob Dylan and this was just, like, a dream. When they asked me to do a cover, I was just, like, salivating and going through all my records. It was so fun. It was the best homework assignment you could possibly have."

K's version of Dylan's song is a slow-burning, heartbreaking ode to the already heartbreaking classic, where she channels Dylan through lyrics like "Still I wish there was somethin' you would do or say/ To try and make me change my mind and stay/ We never did too much talkin' anyway/ So don't think twice, it's all right."

Ke$ha had originally intended to record another Dylan track, but when she heard that someone else had their sights set on it, she settled on "Don't Think Twice," prompting a catharsis she could never have imagined.

"This song was kind of an accident. I sat down and this is the first take that I ever sang," she recalled. "I just sat down on my bed for the first time after months of being on tour and I just started crying, and it was kind of like an emotional purging, and you can hear it on the record."

In addition to Ke$ha and her contribution, the album will feature 75 other Dylan classics recorded by nearly 80 artists including Adele, Miley Cyrus, "Glee" star Darren Criss, My Chemical Romance, Evan Rachel Wood and Sugarland. The album pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of Amnesty International.

Kile Glover, 11, remains hospitalized after suffering traumatic head injury.
By Nadeska Alexis

<MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1270">Usher</MTVNLINK>'s stepson, 11-year-old Kile Glover, remains in the hospital after suffering a traumatic head injury during a jet-ski accident last weekend. Glover, the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster, was pronounced brain dead on Sunday, but his family has issued a statement, saying that they are keeping positive thoughts and asking for prayers.

"We know God's in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time," the family told CNN in a statement. "We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it's the best way we can all support him now."

According to CNN, Glover's family has already held a vigil for him at the hospital, and Usher visited the 11-year-old the morning after he was admitted to the hospital. The two had reportedly grown close during the R&B singer's two-year marriage to Foster.

The accident took place on Friday (July 6) when Glover and a second victim, a 15-year-old girl, were struck by a jet-ski while floating on an inner tube in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. Both children were airlifted to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston pediatric hospital. The girl is reported to have suffered from a cut on the head and a broken arm, while Glover took the brunt of the trauma to his head.

The man driving the jet ski has been identified as 38-year-old Jeffrey S. Hubbard, a family friend. At this time the police have determined that no drugs were involved, and no charges are being pressed. On Sunday TMZ reported that Glover was declared brain dead when doctors determined that he had not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital on Friday.

Friends of Usher and his ex-wife have sent their well-wishes to the family via Twitter. "Wishing @TamekaRaymond's son godspeed recovery. horrible news to hear," Roots drummer Questlove tweeted, while Jermaine Dupri added, "Lifers! pls say a prayer for man Ryan, Tameka, Usher and the Glover family."

No, it's probably not considered the Golden Age of Hollywood, but it is safe to say that the '80s brought us more than enough films to stand the test of time. Whether you relate to the Brat Pack or Detective John McClane, you've probably got a few favorites that make you squeal when they show up (again and again) on AMC or TBS. And if you ever come across a film you don't recognize, just use this handy checklist to determine if you're indeed watching '80s gold.

Tip confirms second remix in the works for track, which previously featured a remix verse from Andre 3000.

Now, a few more rappers want to get dirty with the glittery pop singer.

XXLmag.com reports that T.I. plans to jump on the track, and Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa will also be joining Andre and Tip on a new version of "Sleazy." Weezy should be a welcome addition to Ke$ha's dance tune, as it sounds somewhat like Wayne's single "A Milli." And while not much else is known about the remix, T.I. promised that he's going to go big with his verse.

"I haven't heard anybody but mine. ... I'm gonna put my money on mine," the newly freed rapper, who ended an 11-month prison sentence in September, told the website.

The Andre 3000 remix dropped earlier this year and appears on K-Dollar Sign's album Cannibal. The guys will have a lot of swagger to compete with because when Andre appeared on the first remix, he had this to say: "We start out so cute in our baby pictures/ That mama shot for our daddy so that he wouldn't forget you/ He forgot anyway, but hey, one day he'll remember/ If not, he's human, I'm human, you human, we'll forgive him/ I call her Keisha, she like it because it's 'hood to her/ She call me Andre 6000 because I'm good to her."

Tip told XXLmag.com that his appearance on the Ke$ha song is just one of many remixes he's amped about. He has also worked on remixes for Meek Mill and Rick Ross's "Ima Boss," as well as Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne song "N---as in Paris."

"I'm looking for some more records to jump on," he said. "That's what I'm doin' right now. I'm commandeering hit records right now. I'm hijacking hit records. If you got a hit, I'm on it."

Are you looking forward to the new "Sleazy" remix? Tell us in the comments!

During band's rehearsal break for Sunday's Movie Awards, we put Foos to the test.
By Ryan J. Downey, with reporting by Jim Cantiello

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — Hard rock, heavy metal, hardcore and punk have long gone hand-in-hand with evil wizards, magic, vampires and werewolves. And with a collective sub-cultural pedigree that includes stints in the Germs, No Use for a Name, Sunny Day Real Estate, Scream and some band called Nirvana, you'd think the Foo Fighters — set to perform at Sunday's Movie Awards — would know their "Potter" from their Zeppelin. Before we put MTV News' magically crafted trivia to the band, it seemed safe to assume the Foos would accurately distinguish between the words of Harry Potter, a "Twilight" character and Led Zeppelin.
On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years.

The albums featured in the new series are the <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="515">Rolling Stones</MTVNLINK>' Let It Bleed, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="993">Led Zeppelin</MTVNLINK>'s IV, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="973">David Bowie</MTVNLINK>'s The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="503245">Mike Oldfield</MTVNLINK>'s Tubular Bells, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="977">The Clash</MTVNLINK>'s London Calling, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="267">New Order</MTVNLINK>'s Power, Corruption and Lies, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="758">Primal Scream</MTVNLINK>'s Screamadelica, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1118">Pink Floyd</MTVNLINK>'s The Division Bell, <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1041">Blur</MTVNLINK>'s Parklife and — the most recent album on to make the cut — <MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1111141">Coldplay</MTVNLINK>'s A Rush of Blood to the Head.

Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design.

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page — who helped design the cover for IV — was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery.

"Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time."

Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their Rush of Blood stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date."

"We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."
