He was brilliant in the first installment of ?Despicable Me? and now Steve Carell is gearing up for the release of the big sequel.
The ?Office? star showed up at the ? Ellen DeGeneres Show? for an interview in full character/wardrobe as Gru, his animated alter ego.
During the chat, Carell explained, ?This is my first time on television,? also mentioning his favorite aspect of Los Angeles is ?good Starbucks? coffee.
?Despicable Me 2? is slated to hit theaters on July 3rd and also features the voice talents of Ken Jeong, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Benjamin Bratt, Russell Brand, and Steve Coogan.
