Looking to revamp the iconic "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty," Ben Stiller is reportedly in talks with 20th Century Fox to star in the remake.
As for the film, "Mitty" is based on the 1947 Danny Kaye film from the James Thurber short story that first went to press in 1939.
Plans for the reboot have been on and off since 1994, with several actors attached to play the lead, including Sasha Baron Cohen, Mike Myers, Jim Carrey and Owen Wilson.
Now that Ben is coming aboard the project, Fox is expected to move quickly to lock in a directer who can mix some action into a PG rating.
